Cortlandt Manor Woman Charged With Stealing From Macy's

A Cortlandt Manor woman was arrested Saturday after allegedly stealing merchandise from the Macy's in Jefferson Valley Mall, according to Yorktown Police. At about 4:16 p.m. Friday, police responded to a report of a shoplifter in custody at the Macy's located at 700 Lee Blvd., according to police.

Police report that a Jefferson Valley woman was arrested on Sunday, in the theft of items from the Taconic Pharmacy on two separate occasions. According to police, Louise Miller, 58, of Jefferson Valley, was observed on the store's security camera stealing assorted merchandise from the store on Oct. 17 and Oct. 22. The value of the items taken on Oct. 17 was $16.77, and the items taken on Oct. 22 were valued at $18.17, police said.

Teens Charged With Shooting Paint Balls At Cars In Yorktown

YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. Yorktown police arrested two Jefferson Valley teenagers and a Mohegan Lake teen Monday for shooting paintballs at cars traveling on East Main Street near Old Jefferson Valley Road, according to Yorktown police. The three male teens, whose names are being withheld due to youthful offender status, allegedly were firing paint balls at cars from the nearby wood line, and one vehicle suffered more than $250 worth of damage from a paintball, authorities said.

Yorktown Man Charged With Assault On Woman

YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. Nathanial Jenkins, a 36-year-old Jefferson Valley man, was arrested Tuesday after being accused of punching, scratching and kicking a woman, causing physical injury, according to Yorktown police. Police said officers responded for a report of an assault at 620 E. Main St. After conducting an investigation, it was found that Jenkins assaulted the woman, according to police.

Crompond Man Charged With Traffic Infractions

A 17-year-old Yorktown male and an 18-year-old Cortlandt male whose names are being withheld due to their possible eligibility for youthful offender status have been charged with criminal possession of marijuana, a class B misdemeanor on Thursday, Feb. 12, according to Yorktown police. Police received a call from security staffers at Sears in the Jefferson Valley Mall at 5:08 p.m. Jan. 8, reporting two the young women in custody. One is 16 and one 17. Their names have been withheld because they are eligible for youthful offender status, which can only be granted by a judge.
