Calling all performers -- Jefferson Valley Mall is seeking members of the local community to perform, entertain and model during its 2016 Home, Lifestyle and Family Show presented by Yorktown Chamber of Commerce and Jilco Window Corporation on Saturday, Feb. 20. Yorktown Police Arrest Jefferson Valley Woman In Cheese Theft

Police received a call from the manager of DeCicco's Marketplace on Lee Street reporting a shoplifter in custody on Friday, Jan. 22, at 12:29 p.m., according to officials. Officers were dispatched to the scene; their investigation revealed that the suspect, identified as Barbara J. Quinn, 76, stole a package of Kraft cheese valued at $4.39 from the store, police report.
