Teen Charged With Stealing Eye Drops From Taconic Pharmacy

YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. A 16-year-old Mohegan Lake resident, whose name is being withheld due to eligibility for youthful offender status, has been charged with petit larceny after attempting to steal Visine eye drops from Taconic Pharmacy in Jefferson Valley on Tuesday, Dec. 23. Police said they received a call regarding a shoplifting complaint and were dispatched to the pharmacy. After an investigation, police found that a 16-year-old male stole a bottle of Visine eye drops valued at $6.19.

Officers were called to 3887 Wood St. on a welfare check when they encountered Vincent A. Lovallo, 58. During the investigation Lovallo allegedly became combative, spit in the face of one of the officers and used religious slurs, police said.
