Support Connection, Inc. announces a free weekly program: "Yoga: A Path Toward Wellness" that takes place on Saturdays from noon to 1:30 p.m. at Club Fit, Jefferson Valley. The dates in March include March 5, 12, 19 and 26. It is open to people living with breast, ovarian and gynecological cancers.

Yorktown Teen Charged With Stealing From Toys R Us

A 19-year-old employee of the Toys R Us store in Jefferson Valley has been charged with grand larceny, according to Yorktown police. Tiffany A. Hernandez, a Yorktown resident, stole more than $1,500 while working at the toy store between last December and this January, police said.

Jefferson Valley Mall Throws Valentine's Day Celebration

Jefferson Valley Mall in Yorktown Heights invites children of all ages to celebrate Valentine's Day on Friday with Munchkins and hot cocoa, provided by Dunkin' Donuts, as well as bingo, Valentine-themed crafts, games and a holiday photo booth. Yonkers Resident Charged With Stealing Pillows From Sears

A Yonkers woman, who had been sought in the theft of pillows from Sears in Jefferson Valley, has been arrested and charged with petit larceny, Yorktown police said. A warrant for Gwendolyn D. Cole, 26, had been issued in early January, police said, after she was accused of taking $297 worth of pillows from the store.
