The Jefferson Valley Mall in Yorktown Heights has joined forces with Putnam Humane Society to launch a series of monthly pet adoption events. Beginning on Saturday, Feb. 13, the community is invited to attend the event, which is from noon-3 p.m. "We are eager to support Putnam Humane Society in their mission to find 'forever homes' for the homeless, abused and neglected animals of our community," said Alexa O'Rourke, director of marketing and business development at Jefferson Valley Mall.
