After leading a campaign to upgrade Jefferson Valley Mall, state Sen. Terrence Murphy, Yorktown Town Supervisor Michael Grace and town council members Greg Bernard and Tom Diana broke ground on Phase I of the renovations Aug. 14. "Today marks the culmination of more than six years of hard work on behalf of the residents of Yorktown and the Hudson Valley," said Murphy. "The people of Yorktown entrusted us to see this project through and I am proud that we delivered for them.
