A 30-year-old Danbury resident was arrested and charged on April 5 after police found he possessed cocaine while in the Jefferson Valley Mall parking lot. Anthony Scarfone was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the seventh degree, a Class A misdemeanor.

Farmers Market Returns To Yorktown
The farmers market, which ran in town in the summer of 2012, will be opening at the Jefferson Valley Mall on April 22 at 9 a.m. and will be running through Sept. 16. The original Yorktown Farmers Market ran behind the firehouse and ended up donating $11,000 to charity.
