Jefferson Valley Mall To Host Community Day In Yorktown

YORKTOWN, N.Y. The Jefferson Valley Mall is hosting the 26th annual Yorktown Community Day from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 13. The admission-free celebration, featuring exhibits, attractions, activities and entertainment for the whole family, will take place both inside and outside the mall. "We are honored to be a part of this annual celebration which brings together an impressive assortment of local businesses, artisans and community partners from Yorktown," said Alexa O'Rourke, director of marketing and business development at Jefferson Valley Mall.

Yorktown Police Check On Alcohol Sales To Minors

YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. Undercover, underage agents were used Tuesday to conduct alcohol compliance checks at 12 licensed locations within Yorktown, according to town police. The effort, sponsored by the Alliance for Safe Kids, was part of a local, federally funded study to combat underage drinking.
